ICAI CA Final course examination – under old scheme under new scheme exams are schedule from 21st May 2021 and Intermediate (ipc) course examination – under old scheme and Intermediate course examination – under new scheme are schedule from 22nd May 2021. Online filing for CA Exam form for May 2021 is going to begin from 31st March 2021. 

Places of examination centres in India for Chartered Accountants examinations in May 2021 already announced. However, Exam Council reserves the right to withdraw any city / centre at any stage without assigning any reason.

Applications for admission to Intermediate (IPC), Intermediate & Final Examinations; Candidates are required to apply on-line at https://icaiexam.icai.org from 31st March, 2021 to 13th April, 2021  and remit the examination fee on-line by using VISA or MASTER or MAESTRO Credit / Debit Card / Rupay Card / Net Banking / Bhim UPI. They shall however, be required to remit additional Rs 600/- towards late fee (for Domestic & Kathmandu centres) and US$ 10 (for Overseas centres) in case the application on- line is made after 13th April, 2021 and upto 16th April, 2021.

Further, applications for admission to Post Qualification Course Examinations i.e. Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) Technical Examination and International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT – AT) (which is open to the members of the Institute) are required to apply on-line at pqc.icaiexam.icai.org from 31st March, 2021 to 13th April, 2021 and remit the examination fee on-line by using VISA or MASTER or MAESTRO Credit / Debit Card / Rupay Card / Net Banking / Bhim UPI. They shall however, be required to remit additional Rs 600/- towards late fee in case the application on-line is made after 13th April, 2021 and upto 16th April, 2021.

The late fee for online submission of examination application for CA exam form after the scheduled last date would be Rs 600/- (for Indian / Kathmandu Centres) and US $ 10 (for Abroad Centres) as decided by the Council. 

CA Exam Form Process 2021

If you are applying for the first time, then the registration process for ICAI exam is as under:

  • Click LOGIN/REGISTER on the main tab of the ICAI official website or  https://icaiexam.icai.org/
  • Click on ‘New User Register here!’ to register for ICAI exam as a fresh student, check the image below (for representation purpose only) 
  • ICAI Registration Form will pop up.
  • Fill the details as required i.e. Examination (Final – Old & New, Intermediate IPC-ATE Old, Intermediate New, and Foundation), Select Prefix, Registration Number, Date of Birth as per certificates, Valid E-mail address, Mobile Number and Landline Number (If any but not mandatory)
  • Click on confirmation/declaration and ‘Register’ button to complete ICAI Exam Registration
  • Once, ICAI registration is complete, proceed to fill the application form for your respective examination.
  • Go to the link “Apply Now” 
  • Upload the necessary documents
  • Proceed to the fee submission option to complete the registration process.
  • At last download the completed application form

Instructions to Fill CA Exam Form 2021

  • The candidate will have to create a login ID on the official ICAI website, through one-time registration, if not done before.
  • Once the candidate has registered, he/she will receive a username and password through an email. The same will be shared through an SMS on the phone number furnished at the time of one-time registration.
  • The candidate can log in through the username and password to access the application form.
  • The candidate is required to furnish valid details and fill up every mandatory field. Incomplete forms will be rejected.
  • The candidate is then required to pay the application fee through Visa/Master/Maestro Credit/Debit Card.
  • After successful payment of the fees, the candidate will be required to download the duly filled form and take a print out of the same.
  • If the image upload does not appear on the printout, the candidate will have to attach two latest photographs (passport size – 3.5X4.5 cms.)– One attested and one non-attested.
  • If the Signatures are not appearing in the printout then Sign at specified places.
  • The candidate will be required to get the Application Form attested by a Chartered Accountant or a Gazetted Officer or Principal of School/College
  • They need not send the hard copy of CA exam form to the official address anymore.
