The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has Revised Announcement for Submission of Request for availing Opt-Out facility from December 2020 to June 2021 Exam Session. However, there were many confusions among the CS students regarding December 2020 exams and Opt out facility provided to students, to clear such confusions ICSI issued the Clarification regarding “Opt-Out Facility”. That is as follows-

Clarification regarding “Opt-Out Facility”
Institute has received various queries from students regarding “Opt-Out Facility” given to carry forward from Dec 2020 to June 2021 exam session vide Announcement issued dated 20th December 2020.
In view of the above, it is clarified that opt-out/ partial opt-out option shall be provided to all students as per details given in Institute’s Announcement dated 20th December 2020.
The said facility shall not be available to a student who has appeared in all the papers for all the modules for which he/she is enrolled.
