CA exam May 2024: The Election Commission has announced the schedule of the Election to the 18th Lok Sabha in the month of April – June 2024. It is observed that the aforementioned Lok Sabha Election, which will be held in 7 phases, will commence from 19th April 2024 and conclude on 1st June 2024. Counting for all phases will be done on 4th June 2024.

With this in mind, the ICAI has released a new timetable for May 2024 examinations as the General Lok Sabha Election dates overlap the current examination schedule.

CA INTERMEDIATE COURSE EXAMINATION – Under NEW SCHEME

[As per syllabus contained in the scheme notified by the Council under Regulation 28 G (4) of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988.]
Group-I:       3rd, 5th & 9th May 2024
Group-II:     11th, 15th & 17th May 2024

CA FINAL EXAMINATION – Under NEW SCHEME

[As per syllabus contained in the scheme notified by the Council under Regulation 31 (iv) of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988.]
Group -I:   2nd, 4th & 8th May 2024
Group -II:   10th, 14th & 16th May 2024

MEMBERS’ EXAMINATION

INTERNATIONAL TAXATION – ASSESSMENT TEST (INTT – AT)

14th & 16th May 2024

It may further be noted that there would be no change in the examination schedule in the event of any day of the examination schedule mentioned above, being declared a Public Holiday by the Central Government or any State Government / Local Authority.

However, it is clarified that the other particulars / details as announced vide Important Announcement dated 25th January 2024 hosted on www.icai.org shall remain unchanged.
